How do I allow my students to sit for their placement test?

If you have not created an account for your students, you will have to first create either a trial or annual subscription account for your students. Once your student accounts have been created, your students will have to login to their account with their given student access code. Upon logging in, your students will automatically be directed to the Placement Centre to sit for their placement test. Once your students have completed their placement test, the Placement Centre will create a suitable CARS assessment based on their test performance.

Please note: student with virtual account cannot sit for their placement test.

  Hi,

  I've just logged on to my account for the first time and need my students to complete placements tests. All their names are in my class list. What address to the kids log into and what are their account details?

  Hi Nicole,

  For Student Login, you need to make sure no one else is logged on to the program on your computer. To log someone else out, click at the top right of fullname and select Logout from the dropdown menu.

  1. Go to https://app.carsandstars.com.au and click on the "Students" to switch to the student login and enter the access code. Your student can login with their issued access code that is currently listed on the student access card.
  2. Click Login.
