Introducing Our Game-Changing Reading Level Automation Feature!

As an educator, you understand that each student’s reading journey is as unique as their personality. Balancing multiple responsibilities and a heavy workload can make thoroughly reviewing student reports and manually reassigning reading levels challenging. Our groundbreaking Reading Level Automation feature is here to transform your teaching experience.

Imagine a classroom where every student is engaged, motivated and progressing at their optimal pace. With our automated system, this vision becomes a reality. To activate this feature for individual students, visit the ‘EDIT PROFILE’ page and turn on ‘ENABLE NEXT READING LEVEL AUTOMATION’ under ‘ACCOUNT SETTINGS’.

Once this setting is enabled, the system will monitor student progress and automatically move them to the next reading level when they complete their current CARS & STARS reading level. This unlocks new content and keeps the learning momentum going. It enhances personalised learning, improves student engagement and maximises reading skill development. The feature also increases intrinsic motivation by providing immediate positive reinforcement through automatic advancement, encouraging students to extend their limits – fostering a growth mindset and a love for reading.

1. Students scoring above 50% will advance to the next reading level automatically.
2. Students scoring below 50% will be reassigned to the same level to reinforce learning.
3. For students with an active FOCUS Reading subscription and an existing FOCUS Reading Level assignment, the system will synchronise their progress by assigning a new FOCUS Reading level that corresponds directly to their newly determined CARS & STARS Reading level.
4. Students who complete level H (the highest level) will not be reassigned.
